Return and Refund Policy — JaOcCo (RISC-V8)

1. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

You have 14 days from the date of receipt to withdraw from your purchase without giving any reason.

In accordance with EU Directive 2023/2673, you may exercise this right via the electronic withdrawal form available directly on our website: Cancel my order. This form is the primary method for EU consumers.

You may also exercise this right by sending us an unambiguous statement by email at hello@jaocco.com.

You must return the items within 14 days of your withdrawal notification.

Exceptions: personalised items or goods made to your specifications (print-on-demand, colour or print placement variations inherent to on-demand manufacturing) are not eligible for withdrawal, unless defective.

We may delay the refund until receipt of the returned items or proof of shipment, whichever comes first.


2. United Kingdom — Right of Withdrawal (14 days)

Consumers residing in the United Kingdom benefit from a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of receipt of the goods, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

To exercise this right, please send us a clear statement (by email) before the deadline.

We may delay the refund until receipt of the returned items or proof of shipment, whichever comes first.

Return shipping costs may remain the customer's responsibility where indicated.
Legal exceptions (clearly personalised items, print-on-demand, etc.) remain applicable.

A model withdrawal form is provided in the appendix of this document (use is not mandatory).


3. Returns (CH / EU / DE / UK / US / CA) — Defective, Damaged or Non-Conforming Items

If your item is defective, damaged or non-conforming, contact us within 14 days of receipt with:

  • clear photos of the defect or damage,
  • your order number.

Depending on the situation, a replacement, repair, re-shipment or refund will be offered.

In Switzerland, no automatic statutory right of return applies.
Upon reasoned request, JaOcCo may accept a return at its sole discretion.

Orders that selected the Premium (insured) Shipping option receive priority handling in the event of loss during transit or item received severely damaged.

4. Process and Return Address

Write to 📩 hello@jaocco.com stating:

  • the reason for the return,
  • photos (if applicable),
  • your order number.

We will provide you with the appropriate return address.

The return address may vary depending on the production and fulfilment centre and the original delivery country.

Processing rules are detailed in the current Shipping Policy.


5. Refunds

Upon receipt and inspection of returned items, we will refund via the original payment method within an indicative period of 14 days.

Original shipping costs (Standard or Premium/Insured) are refunded only if:

  • the return results from a JaOcCo error,
  • or the delivered product is defective / damaged upon arrival.

Outside these cases, original shipping costs are not refunded.

Return and any re-shipment costs remain the customer's responsibility, except in the case of an error attributable to JaOcCo.


6. Exchanges (Size Error)

Size exchanges are possible only if the item is still available in the relevant limited collection.

The exchange is free on JaOcCo's side (replacement item shipped at no additional cost), but the customer bears the cost of the initial return shipment.


7. Unclaimed Parcels / Incorrect Address

If a parcel is returned to us because:

  • the address provided was incomplete or incorrect,
  • the parcel was refused by the recipient,
  • or the parcel was not collected within the carrier's deadline,

re-shipment fees may apply.

These situations are handled in accordance with the current Shipping Policy.


8. Model Withdrawal Form (Appendix — UK & Paper Alternative for EU)

(Alternative to the electronic form — to be used only if you cannot access the online form. EU consumers are encouraged to use the electronic form.)
