Return and Refund Policy — JaOcCo (RISC-V7)

1. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

You have 14 days from receipt to withdraw without giving any reason.

To exercise this right, send us an unambiguous statement (by email).

You must return the items within 14 days following your notification.

Exceptions: personalised items or goods made to your specifications (print-on-demand, colour variations or print placement variations inherent to on-demand production) are not eligible for withdrawal, except in the event of a defect.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earlier date.

2. United Kingdom — Right of withdrawal (14 days)

Consumers residing in the United Kingdom also benefit from a 14-day right of withdrawal from receipt of the goods, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

To exercise this right, send us a clear statement (by email) before the end of the period.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earlier date.

Return costs may remain payable by the customer where specified.
Legal exceptions (clearly personalised items, print-on-demand items, etc.) remain applicable.

A model withdrawal form is provided in the appendix to this document (use is not mandatory).

3. Returns (Switzerland / EU / DE / UK / US / CA) — defective, damaged or non-conforming product

If your item is defective, damaged or non-conforming, contact us within 14 days after receipt and attach:

clear photos of the defect or damage,
your order number.

Depending on the case, a replacement, repair, reshipment or refund will be offered.

In Switzerland, there is no automatic statutory right of return.
Upon a reasoned request, JaOcCo may accept a return at its sole discretion.

Orders that selected the Premium Shipping (insured) option receive priority handling in the event of loss in transit or a severely damaged item on arrival.

4. Return procedure and return address

Write to 📩 hello@jaocco.com stating:

the reason for the return,
photos (if applicable),
your order number.

We will provide the appropriate return address.

The return address may vary depending on the relevant production and shipping centre and the country of origin of delivery.

Rules for handling requests (including processing hours) are specified in the current Shipping Policy.

5. Refunds

After receiving and checking the returned items, we refund via the original payment method within an indicative period of 14 days.

Initial shipping fees (Standard or Premium/insured) are refunded only if:

the return results from an error by JaOcCo,
or the delivered product is defective / damaged on arrival.

Outside of these cases, initial shipping fees are not refunded.

Return shipping and any reshipment costs remain payable by the customer, except where the error is attributable to JaOcCo.

6. Exchanges (size issue)

Size exchanges are possible only if the item is still available in the relevant limited collection.

The exchange is free on JaOcCo’s side (sending the replacement item at no additional cost), but the cost of returning the original item remains payable by the customer.
